
Oakland Raiders Filipino Heritage Game, McAfee Coliseum, Oakland, California, Oct. 19, 2008. The Oakland Raiders are the first NFL team to honor their Filipino American fans with a special game vs. the New York Jets. The fans were treated to a pre-game show with the Likha Pilipino Folk Ensemble and a recognition of Bay Area-based Filipina pro boxer Ana "The Hurricane" Julaton.
The Raiders won in overtime, 16-13, on a field goal kick from Sebastian Janikowski.
The Raiders are the only professional sports team with a website in tagalog (www.raidersintagalog.com).
